Els nominats als Globus d’Or 2024 tenen sorpreses i cares molt conegudes. La pel·lícula més nominada és Barbie. La cinta de Greta Gerwig arrasa amb 9 nominacions. La realitzadora revelació de l’any opta a la Millor Direcció i Millor Guió, però el film també suma nominacions pels seus intèrprets: Margot Robbie (protagonista) i Ryan Gosling (secundari). Tres de les seves candidatures, tanmateix, són per a cançons. Aquestes opcions de premi la converteixen en el segon film més nominat de la història dels premis juntament amb Cabaret (1972) de Bob Fosse. La primera és Nashville, (1975) de Robert Altman, que en va tenir 11.
Igual que va passar a l’estiu, la principal rival de Barbie serà Oppenheimer que suma 7 candidatures incloent Millor Direcció, Millor Guió per a Christopher Nolan i la interpretació protagonista de Cillian Murphy. També opten a guardó els papers secundaris de Robert Dawney Jr. i Emily Blunt.
Entre les sorpreses de la llista, trobem les nominacions del film de Ben Affleck, Air que ha aconseguit candidatures a la Millor Pel·lícula de Comèdia i Millor Actor (Matt Damon) o les 4 nominacions per a Maestro. Bradley Cooper és candidat al Millor Actor i Millor Director i el seu film sobre la vida del compositor Leonard Bernstein també està nominat a la Millor Pel·lícula Dramàtica i a la Millor Actriu (Carey Mulligan).

Succession regna a la TV
La sèrie d’HBO Succession és la més nominada en els apartats televisius. De fet, es repeteix la guerra entre protagonistes pel premi al Millor Actor (Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Strong i Brian Cox) i la sèrie és una de les candidates a la Millor Sèrie Dramàtica. Ara bé, tindrà rivals difícils com la seva companya de plataforma HBO The Last of Us o l’última temporada de The Crown a Netflix. Altres sèries amb moltes opcions de premis que podem trobar Disney+ són les segones temporades de The Bear i Abbot Elementary i les terceres temporades de Ted Lasso i Only murders in the building.
Recordem que l’Associació de Premsa Estrangera de Hollywood (HFPA), l’organisme darrere dels premis durant dècades, ha cedit el relleu a causa de diverses acusacions de racisme dins l’entitat. Això també ha provocat que els guardons es traslladin de la cadena NBC a la CBS, propietària de Paramount+. La 81a cerimònia, que tindrà lloc a Los Angeles el 7 de gener, amb dues noves categories la d’Èxit de Taquilla i la de Millor Monologuista Còmic.
