Els guanyadors dels Globus d’Or 2023 són els esperats, però també hi ha sorpreses. El veterà Steven Spielberg és el gran nom protagonista en l’apartat de pel·lícules. La seva The Fabelmans s’ha alçat amb l’estatueta a la Millor Pel·lícula Dramàtica i a la Millor Direcció. El film és tota una carta d’amor al cinema amb molts trets autobiogràfics sobre un nen que creix a Arizona i explora el cinema. No hi falten els alts i baixos a les relacions familiars i personals marca de la casa d’Spielberg. L’Associació de Premsa Estrangera li atorga així el segon Globus d’Or de la seva carrera. Malgrat haver estat nominat fins a 16 cops només havia guanyat per Saving Private Ryan l’any 1999.
Malgrat el triomf del director d’E.T. o Jurassic Park, la cinta amb més reconeixements ha estat The Banshees of Inisherin. La producció dirigida per Martin McDonagh (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) era la més nominada (8 candidatures) i s’ha endut 3 premis. El més destacat és el de Millor Pel·lícula de Comèdia per un film on l’humor negre és el protagonista. El director no ha pogut vèncer Spielberg, però també marxa a casa amb el guardó al Millor Guió (gestà que ja va aconseguir el 2018 amb Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri). El cap de cartell, l’irlandès Collin Farrell, s’ha endut el segon Globus d’Or de la seva carrera després d’In Bruges, 2009, també de Martin McDonagh. Ha estat com a Millor Actor de Comèdia.
Globus d’or 2023: actuacions per a recordar
En l’apartat interpretatiu la cosa ha quedat més repartida als Globus d’Or 2023. La malaia Michelle Yeoh obté un merescut premi com a Millor Actriu de Comèdia amb Everything Everywhere All at Once. L’esbojarrada cinta de ciència-ficció i arts marcials també ha coronat Ke Huy Quan com a Millor Actor Secundari. Dos guardons destacats pel film sorpresa de l’any.
En l’apartat dramàtic Cate Blanchet no ha donat marge a la sorpresa. La seva interpretació a TÁR (en majúscules) ha eclipsat el jurat. I també en línia musical Austin Butler ha tingut la seva recompensa per posar-se a la pell (i a les cames) del Rei del Rock a Elvis. Segurament la sorpresa més gran de la nit ha estat el premi a Angela Basset per Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. La veterana actriu no guanyava un Globus d’Or des de 1994 quan va interpretar Tina Turner a Whats love got to do with it.
Els dracs governen la TV de nou
L’apartat seriòfil sí que ha deixat força sorpreses. La primera i més destacada és el guardó a la Millor Sèrie de Drama per House of the Dragon. El reton de l’univers Joc de Trons ha derrotat a rivals tan potents com The Crown o les últimes temporades d’Ozark i Better Call Saul. Ara bé, la gran vencedora ha estat Abbott Elementary. La sèrie que podeu trobar a Disney+, explica la història d’un documental que s’està gravant a una escola bressol a la zona negra de Philadelphia. A banda del premi a la Millor Sèrie de Comèdia, s’ha endut el guardó a la Millor Actriu, Quinta Brunson, i al Millor Actor Secundari per a Tyler James Williams.
Quant a interpretacions la gran sorpresa ha estat veure Kevin Costner recollir el premi al Millor Actor per Yellowstone. L’actor suma així el seu tercer Globus d’Or després de Dancing with the wolves (1990) i la sèrie Hatfields & McCoys (2012). En l’apartat de comèdia, Jeremy Allen White s’ha endut una merescuda estatueta pel seu paper de cuiner a la sèrie sorpresa de l’any: The Bear. I sí, Zendaya ho ha tornat a fer. Després de guanyar l’Emmy ara era el torn del Globus d’Or a la Millor Actriu per l’aclamada Euphoria.
White Lotus: Sicily ha estat la guanyadora en l’apartat de minisèries autoconclusives. A més, el premi a la Millor Actriu Secundària ha estat per Jennifer Coolidge (que se li va resistir l’any passat). Suma així un Globus d’Or a l’Emmy que va guanyar per la 1a temporada.
Netflix, que marxa amb les mans molt buides de la gala, s’ha de conformar amb els premis a la interpretació Evan Peters a Dahmer i l’enèsim guardó a Julia Garner per Ozark. Malgrat que havia guanyat 3 Emmys pel seu paper de Ruth Langmore, el Globus d’Or era un reconeixement que (fins ara) se li resistia.
