L’Acadèmia de Televisió dels Estats Units ja ha lliurat els premis als guanyadors dels Emmys 2024 i no hi ha hagut sorpreses. Ara que el regne empresarial de Succession ha acabat arriba el “shogunat”.
La sèrie Shōgun és ser la gran guanyadora, amb un total de 18 estatuetes. Entre molts premis tècnics, també ha vençut en categories clau millor sèrie dramàtica, millor direcció i els seus actors principals, Hiroyuki Sanada i Anna Sawai. Tota una gesta per una ficció parlada en gran part en japonès i que ja s’ha anunciat que tindrà 2a temporada. Aquesta sèrie d’FX la podem veure al nostre país a Disney+.
En la categoria de comèdia, la sèrie Hacks va destacar com a millor sèrie destronant la gran favorita: The Bear. Això sí, la sèrie dels cuiners no ha marxat ni de bon tros amb les mans buides. Jeremy Allen White ha guanyat novament com a millor actor per la seva interpretació a The Bear. El premi a la millor direcció de comèdia i els dels intèrprets secundaris Liza Colón-Zayas i Ebon Moss-Bachrach completen un any més de glòria per la sèrie més calenta del moment. Per la seva banda, Jean Smart, protagonista de Hacks, es va endur el premi a millor actriu en comèdia.
Baby reindeer domina entre els guanyadors als Emmy 2024 en la categoria de minisèrie
Pel que fa a les miniseries, Baby Reindeer ha estat coronada com la millor. Per si no n’hi hagués prou, el seu creador Richard Gadd guanyant també el premi a millor actor i millor guió en aquesta categoria i la gran revelació de la sèrie, l’actriu. Jessica Gunning també torna a casa amb un guardó. La nota nostàlgica de la nit l’ha donat Jodie Foster que va brillar com a millor actriu en minisèrie per la seva actuació a True Detective: Night Country.
