Després de la catifa vermella i de la llarga passarel·la de vestits i gales que ens han mostrat totes les celebrities, la sala del Dolby Theater de Los Angeles. I és així com, a ritme del “We will rock you” i el “We are the champions”, la gala dels Oscars ha donat el tret de sortida a la nit del cinema. Adam Lambert i els membres de Queen han posat el toc de rock a la gala per encetar la festa. Enguany ha estat la primera edició que no hi ha hagut presentador de la gala. Els premis s’han anat succeint entremig de diferents actuacions com la de “Shallows”, cançó de A star is borns o “When a Cowboy trades his spurs for wings” de The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.
