El 12 de setembre (matinada del 13, hora nostra) és la data escollida per a la celebració de la 74a edició dels premis Emmy. Els premis concedits per l’Acadèmia de la Televisió estatunidenca tindran format presencial i se celebraran al Microsoft Theater.
Enguany la plataforma que lidera les nominacions és clarament HBO Max amb un total de 140 candidatures seguida de Netflix que en té 105. Productes com, Succession (la més nominada amb 24 candidatures), The White Lotus, (la 2a més nominada amb 20) Euphoria o Hacks són els responsables que aquesta empresa sigui la que capitaneja les nominacions. Les alegries de Netflix venen donades principalment per Ozark, The Squid Game i Inventing Anna.
Ara bé, novament la sorpresa ve d’Apple TV i és que Ted Lasso suma també 20 nominacions i es confirma com una de les millors sèries del panorama actual. L’única alegria per a Disney+ és Only murders in the building que acapara 17 candidatures.
